The casting tonnage that consumes EPS cost is economical. According to related factory’s statistics, the average EPS model machining cost for every ton of casting is 100~150 RMB. It includes EPS plate material (or little STMMA, EPMMA plate material and EPS, or EPMMA, STMMA)particle foam mould to pattern. According to alloy material, casting size and structure, the coating is configured and used, The average cost for every ton of casting is 50~100 RMB. Figure1-3, it lists the economical comparison for casting production of lost foam casting process and sand casting process.
